today we played with garage band again, but with no luck we turned to use stock sounds to make our own incidental music instead, this made it easier to have as we would not have to make it and it has no copyright issues we also finished off the credits but we could not give it as effective as we wanted but we blurred it in and out.

today we started on the opening credits we wanted to have the credits to give a scary halloween effect but to no avail, we also had to edit a few shots due to overlapping of the shots where jack licks his finger twice then turns the page, towards the end of the lesson we started to play around with garage band to see if we could make our own music.

today we finished editing the visuals, there was one shot that we did not get to edit which was the zoom shot which was not steady, other than that all the editing is done. we just need to add title, credits and music.

today we had a double lesson, in the first we finished recording and in our second lesson we started to edit the footage, while recording we reshot a few shots due to having more make up on jack, when editing we noticed a few mistakes, but other than a few mistakes and the shots being a bit dark i think it turned out well.

today we started to film and got the shots of skipper inside the house although they turned out quite dark it adds to the atmosphere of the shots.

Today the weather was to bad to film so we did an extension task in lesson and finished off the final paper work that needed to be filled in.

Today we went to my house to recce my house as it easier to get to during the school lessons to film, we also filled out some paper work; our location agreement, talent agreement and risk assessment.

Today we finished our story boards including all of the shots that we included in our shot list, some shots will be added to or tweaked when editing and filming to make the film more fluent and to make sure it is at the 90  second time limit of Depict! We also discussed the location, props and costumes for the film, we decided that we need: Fake blood  and  worn/torn clothes the zombies. The location was going to be shot at Skippers house but as this needed to be shot in class this would be difficult.

Today we planned out the shots that we will be having in our Depict! project and we tried to aim for about 20 to 30 shots and all together we have 24 shots. if the timing is off we can always change shots while editing. We decided on who will be playing the characters; Jack will be playing the zombies we will clone him to make it seem like a group of zombies are after him, and skipper will be playing the main character who is going to be paranoid about them.

today we discussed our idea and finalized what our plan for our short is going to be. we came up with the plot and began to write the synopsis for the short. for next lesson we need to finish the synopsis and begin to discuss props, character and costumes. we discussed copyright issues and wether we will be able to use certain music scores because of copy right issues.

Today we got into our groups for the first time and began to flesh out our idea. we have not fully decided on the idea of the project but we have came up with a simply outline to the video. we are planning to base the story around paranoia of the character watching/reading something that makes them parniod and seeing things that are not there, fearing people thinking they are zombies.
